Award-winning Ghanaian musician and songwriter Kofi Kinaata has weighed in on the ongoing discussions surrounding Ghana’s squad selection for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers, urging the Ghana Football Association (GFA) to ensure a fair process for all deserving players.

“Dear GFA, we beg waa, we’re waiting for the Final WC 26 Man Squad,” he posted.
Kofi Kinaata further appealed to the technical team to consider players based on merit and current performance rather than other influences.
“If the selection process is ongoing backstage too, kindly make it free and fair for the active deserving players… because we all dey watch some,” parts of his post read.
