No Special Security Privileges for Pastors or Individuals – Interior Ministry Clarifies

The Ministry of the Interior has dismissed social media claims that pastors and certain individuals have special privileges to bypass security checks. In a statement issued by its Public Affairs and Communications Unit, the Ministry described these allegations as “baseless, entirely false, and should be disregarded immediately.”

The Ministry expressed concern over the spread of misinformation, warning that such false claims could undermine national security and public trust. It emphasized that no individual or group, regardless of status or profession, is exempt from standard security protocols.

Additionally, the Ministry cautioned against the misuse of its name to spread false information or engage in criminal activities. It urged the public to stay vigilant and report any suspicious activities to the authorities.

Reaffirming its commitment to maintaining peace and security nationwide, the Ministry assured citizens that security measures apply equally to everyone
