Reports Suggest Former First Lady Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings Passes Away

Ghana is mourning the reported passing of former First Lady Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings, who is said to have died at the age of 76 at the Ridge Hospital in Accra.

According to emerging reports, Mrs. Agyeman-Rawlings had been unwell for some time and was receiving close medical attention before her passing.

The wife of the late former President Jerry John Rawlings, Nana Konadu, was not only a political figure but also a trailblazer in her own right. She played an active role in Ghanaian politics, dedicating much of her life to advocating for women’s rights and social empowerment.

Throughout her life, she was widely admired for her leadership, courage, and unwavering commitment to improving the lives of women and communities across the nation.
