“I Don’t Live in a Container House!” – Dubik Mahama Claps Back  Over Missing ECG Containers

In a fiery exchange on the Ghana Tonight Exclusive on TV3, the former Managing Director of the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG), Samuel Dubik Mahama, has pushed back against allegations linking him to a syndicate accused of stealing ECG containers.

Dubik Mahama dismissed the claims, saying, containers don’t get missing containers get misplace let all assist the minister and the forensic audit for us to identify the location of the containers, if we do it and are short off and what ever we need to do holisticallto identify where these containers are and who took the containers out because no matter what a containers number will be linked to someone.

He added that “whoever signs off on a wail bail is always there and that is a documentation that is easily verifiable.” His sharp retort underscored his frustration with the narrative being spun around the missing ECG containers.

Dubik Mahama directly questioned the legitimacy of the claims that a syndicate was involved in the disappearance of the containers. According to him, there is no clear evidence that ties him or any organized group to the alleged theft. He sarcastically retorted,

let the record show that Dubik was part of the syndicate if that is what we are looking for lets look for it , What will be Dubik aim to be part of a syndicate to  take containers out  do I live in a container house if you had come to my house and I have built my house with containers yes you can say something like that and people will believe you

Turning the spotlight on Ghana’s customs and port authorities, Dubik Mahama questioned how such a large volume of ECG property could vanish from the port without detection. He pointed out that the country’s port system is highly regulated, making it difficult for containers to simply disappear without a trace. His concerns raise deeper questions about the efficiency and transparency of port operations in Ghana.

In a move to clear his name and establish the truth, Dubik Mahama demanded a thorough forensic investigation into the disappearance. He urged authorities to trace how the containers left the port, emphasizing that the real culprits should be identified through a proper audit rather than assumptions.

While Mahama maintains his innocence, the controversy surrounding the missing ECG containers remains unresolved. As the public awaits further developments, his call for an independent investigation could be the key to unraveling the mystery behind the disappearance.
