TGMA 2025 Cancelled? Here’s What You Need to Know

Rumors have been swirling about the 26th Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA) being cancelled, but here’s the truth the show is still on, just with a new date.

Charterhouse Productions, the organizers behind Ghana’s biggest music night, have officially announced a change in the date for the main awards ceremony. Originally set for Saturday, May 3, 2025, the event has now been rescheduled to Saturday, May 10, 2025.This update also shifts the dates for key pre-event activities:Master Class will now happen on Thursday, May 8, 2025 Pre-Party has been moved to Friday, May 9, 2025

While the change may come as a surprise to fans and stakeholders, Charterhouse assures the public that the delay is to ensure a world-class experience. “We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding,” the release stated.

In the meantime, voting is open. Fans can support their favorite artistes by dialing *1767# and following the prompts, or voting online at www.GhanaMusicAwards.com.

The much-anticipated event will be held at the Grand Arena, International Conference Centre, and will feature dazzling performances, red carpet glamour, and awards for Ghana’s top music talents.

So no, TGMA 2025 is not cancelled it’s just getting even better. Stay tuned and get ready to celebrate the best of Ghanaian music
