Former NSS Boss Paid a Ghanaian MP to kill the Ghost Name Scandal

The Attorney General, Dr Dominic Ayine has revealed that the Chief Executive Officer of the National Service Scheme (NSS) paid a Ghanaian MP to bury scandal involving ghost names.

Addressing the press on Monday,24th march 2025,  Dr Ayine disclosed that his office had obtained evidence of financial transactions involving top executives of the NSS, vendors, and private individuals.

He stated “ in the NSS scandal, 8 suspects have been interrogated and a good number have started signing so we will give you details of their songs at the appropriate time “

We also have evidence that in November 2024 the CEO of the National Service Scheme and others paid a Ghanaian MP to kill the story in the media, and to defend them. Now, this is a developing story, and more of it will come out very soon,” he added.

The AG indicated that more details will soon emerge in the ongoing investigations into the National Service and Sky Train scandals, will be concluded in April and therefore describing the situation as a “developing story.”
