NIA Announces new Ghana Card fees at Prestige Centres

The National Identification Authority (NIA) has introduced a revised fee structure for Ghana Card services at its District, Premium and Prestige registration centres.

The new charges cover services such as first-time registration, card replacement, renewals, and record updates, with fees varying by registration centre type.

At the newly introduced 24-Hour Economy Prestige Registration Centre in Labone, first-time registration and card renewal cost GH¢610 each, while card replacement costs GH¢720.

Applicants seeking a record update that involves card replacement will pay GH¢655, the same fee charged for a nationality record update. A record update without card replacement costs GH¢400.

The NIA says the Labone centre operates 24 hours and forms part of the government’s Accelerated Export Development Initiative and 24-Hour Economy agenda.

The revised fees are part of the NIA’s updated charges for Ghana Card-related services across its various registration centres.
