Tems, the Nigerian singer , songwriter and Grammys award winner has officially canceled her upcoming concert in Rwanda due to the ongoing conflict between the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and Rwanda.
The decision comes amid escalating tensions between the two countries, with both sides accusing each other of supporting rebel groups in the region. Tems, known for her hit collaborations with artists like Drake and Wizkid, expressed her deep concern for the safety of her fans and the general situation in the area.

The concert, scheduled to take place in the near future, was highly anticipated by her Rwandan fans. However, in light of the geopolitical instability, Tems’ team made the difficult but necessary choice to prioritize the safety of all involved.
In a post she shared on X, she apologized saying she was not aware of the situation while scheduling her show
